On October 7th, over 70 people interested in healthy, tasty and climate friendly school food gathered in Tartu Nature House, Estonia. It was a pleasure to open the conference with welcoming words by long-time CLIKIS-project lead, Malte Schmidthals from IZT. The CLIKIS-analysis results and manual for climate analysis of school kitchens were introduced by Estonian Green Movement. Meatless Tuesday initiative introduced their widely popular school programme, and the Green School Network shared light on the possibilities of reducing food waste. It was a long and interesting day with deep discussions, we hope many new initiatives on greener school food were born!
