The conference was aimed at strengthening cooperation between education and business and the future development of dual education in higher education. The University Business Cooperation in International Dual Higher Education International Scientific Conference was supposed to be held in Sofia, Bulgaria, but due to SARS-CoV-2 pandemic, it was held online from 03-04.09.2020. More about the conference can be viewed here:

The mentioned conference is just one more splendid activity that is a part of Erasmus EU project called “DYNAMIC – Towards Adaptive Engineering Curricula through the Europeanization of Dual Higher Education“. The honour of giving the introductory speech and lecture went to Maria Gabriel, European Commissioner for Innovation, Research, Culture and Youth.

Branimir Spajić and Diana Gluhak Spajić participated at the Conference lectures as representatives of RED FORK company for R&D in Biotechnology. Sven Maričić, PhD, from the University of Juraj Dobrila in Pula, gave an invited lecture on “The importance of 3D and VR technologies in vocational education.”

During two exciting days, discussed topics were related to the further development of higher education and business connectivity in the future. The conference pointed out the importance of future education and vital changes in curricula, dual education, innovation alliances, entrepreneurial education, and university-business cooperation that will have to take place. Further on, the conference focused on strengthening the cooperation between universities and business companies with the aim on future development in higher education.

This was a very interesting topic for RED FORK since we are combining science and business into successful projects that find a place on the market.
